The SAG Foundation Screening Room

To commemorate their 75th year anniversary, The Screen Actors Guild Foundation commissioned our audio-video systems designer Allen Pellerin to design a state-of the art screening room. The space gave SAG members more reason to celebrate. The Actors Center exceeded all expectations and is now in high demand not only for motion picture premieres, but the space also serves as a highly versatile corporate presentation space.

Visually The Actors Center is impressive, but the high performance technology is what makes the space such a sought-after venue in Hollywood. The Actors Center features a 132″ High Definition Digital Cinemascope front-projection system and two 96″ HD rear-projection systems. Any three projectors are ready to display any combination of six integrated video sources and four guest sources. Live broadcast camera feeds are supported by two floor interface locations. The audio complement features a digitally controlled JBL 4000 Series Cinema Sound System with eight surround speakers, wireless microphones, echo cancellation and digital EQ. Audio from any source or live event can be directed to the recfeption area or conference rooms. Sophisticated presentations, stage lighting and room effects are easily managed with the use of the integrated custom touch panel.

The Actors Center Classroom

The Actors Center’s multipurpose classroom hosts seminars and workshops of interest for the Hollywood Community. Here students eager to hone their acting skills are also educated on the business of acting. Classroom Technology includes sound reinforcement, a HD broadcast video camera for live event streaming and a HD display is utilized for in-classroom video instruction.

The Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab

Don LaFontaine is a legend in Hollywood and we were honored to provide audio and video systems engineering for the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab. Educational classes are held in a 20-seat classroom where students can observe live voice-over talent in action or apply their own craft using world-class microphones and professional ADR video monitors. The talent can be filmed from several locations in the sound booth with their performance streamed live to colleges like UCLA that offer classes on acting and voice-over.

Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc.

The Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) is a physician owned and governed organization comprised of many of the finest doctors practicing in the state of California. Los Angeles based CEO Mr. John E. Ingram needed to conduct meetings with many busy physicians in a given week however neither party had the time to leave their respective offices. In addition, Mr. Ingram wished to conduct large “all hands” meetings with other CAP offices. His requirements of course were accomplished with an integrated multi-camera video conferencing solution at each of the CAP offices. Both CAP physicians and CAP executives from satellite offices were very pleased to have their weekly meeting not include a 3-4 hour drive to downtown Los Angeles.

Little Company of Mary

LCM had big plans to connect doctors with patients, clinicians with hospitals and specialists with other medical centers anywhere in the world. There was an increasing demand for an immediate access to specialists, improve healthcare to patients, lower costs, and collaborate with staff located in other cities. This ambitious initiative was fulfilled by deploying video conferencing systems at all their facilities and resulted in faster, more effective diagnoses and treatments to patients.  We are proud to be a part of bettering care to patients around the world.
